The Position

The Account Coordinator provides support on all facets of project planning and execution, facilitating the necessary processes with internal team members and clients to see the success of projects through. They ensure information is captured and relayed appropriately on assigned accounts and action out the steps required to fulfill client deliverables in an efficient, timely manner. They’re expert organizers who are highly effective at staying on top of multiple projects, each with various moving pieces, thanks to their proactive thinking skills, exceptional verbal and written communication abilities and a strong attention to detail.

Overall Accountability

The purpose of this position is to collaborate with other key members of the Client Services department, assess client needs and manage the administrative functions associated with deliverables, activities, budgets, and deadlines for creative campaigns and individual client projects. This includes developing a comprehensive understanding of all assigned accounts’ activity, upholding detailed program and project management and maintaining professional communication with clients as well as production and media suppliers as needed.

Responsibilities & Duties

Areas of responsibility for the Account Coordinator will include:

  • Interpret proposals and develop clear actions with appropriate deadlines for client deliverables
  • Source media and production quotes as needed and verify specifications
  • Conduct market and industry research as needed and assist with developing media budgets
  • Solicit metrics and program performance measures to evaluate campaign/project effectiveness to integrate into future client initiatives
  • Proactively consider strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats for assigned accounts and how this could impact clients’ businesses and dealings with the agency
  • Work alongside Account Manager(s) to monitor project constraints (schedule/scope/resources)

To be considered for this position, you will need a passion for marketing and be able to think on your feet. Experience in an agency setting will be considered an asset. While you can be located anywhere in Canada, you will be expected to work within an MST time zone.
